1% of Albanian boys leave for England on rafts! So far, 12 thousand Albanians have immigrated illegally to Britain

The British authorities are concerned about illegal immigration from Albania. “Sky” writes that the number of Albanian emigrants who are crossing by dinghies to Britain has seen an exponential increase in the last year.

According to the data published by the Committee of Internal Affairs, it is evident that until now there have been 12 thousand Albanian emigrants, of which 10 thousand are young men. The main reason, according to the authorities, is that Albanian criminal gangs have gained ground in France by enabling crossings to Britain with small dinghies.

According to Dan O’Mahoney from the Internal Affairs Committee, this year, emigration rates have increased from 1 to 2 percent of all Albanian males.

The high migratory flow has caused the asylum centers in Britain to be overloaded by more than 200% of their capacity.

While some of those who arrive in Great Britain may become victims of modern slavery, others are freely included in the system, disappearing into Great Britain as soon as they arrive.

On the other hand, even though there is a high flow of Albanians to Britain, it is evident that only a very small percentage of them manage to obtain asylum.
