What do we trade most with Britain? Data shows increase in trade exchanges

The UK Office for National Statistics has released some data on foreign trade with Albania. For the year, total UK exports to Albania reached £205 million, an increase of 7.3%. Meanwhile, total UK imports from Albania reached £169 million, an increase of 8.3%.
But which products were exported and imported the most between the two countries? According to ONS data, trade between Albania and the United Kingdom remains mainly concentrated in a few main product categories. Statistics for the end of 2025 show that Albania continues to export to the British market mainly light industry and agricultural products, while imports are dominated by machinery and equipment.
Among the main products that Albania has exported to the United Kingdom, clothing is the most important, with a value of around 2.2 million pounds. This category remains one of the most important sectors of Albanian exports, reflecting the role of the fashion industry in the country's economy. They are followed by beverages and tobacco, with around 1.5 million pounds, and vegetables and fruits, with a value of around 1.1 million pounds. The list of main exports also includes iron and steel, as well as processed mineral products, each with around 0.9 million pounds.
On the other hand, Albania’s imports from the United Kingdom are dominated by equipment and technology. The main imported product is cars, with a value of around £4.1 million, indicating the demand of the Albanian market for vehicles. Also, a significant part of the imports consists of specialized machinery, with a value of around £2.5 million, as well as various food products, with a value of around £2.3 million. This list also includes beverages and tobacco, with a value of around £2.1 million, as well as office machinery and technology equipment, with a value of around £2 million.
