Eurocontrol lowers Albanian airport fees; high interest will be applied for late payments

The air traffic management organization, Eurocontrol, decided that the tariffs for the year 2023 at the airports of Tirana and Kukës will be reduced.

Eurocontrol has set the fee for Tirana Airport at 219.45 euros.

While classified as Zone 2, it is also stated in the same announcement that there has been a decrease at the Kukës airport, where the fee for 2023 will be 109.73 euros, down from 117.85 euros last year.

Eurocontrol announces that, referring to late payments, interest will also be applied, where 9.97% has been set for this year, increasing compared to the interest in 2022.

Terminal charges are monthly invoices delegated by Eurocontrol that are set for departing flights, taking into account the weight of the departing aircraft and the aerodrome charge unit from the place of departure.
