How did the economy perform in 2022? Ibrahimaj: This was a difficult year, prices took a “turn” in November

The year 2022 is expected to be finalized with an economic growth rate of 3.7 percent. During the last press conference for 2022, the Minister of Finance, Delinda Ibrahimaj, gave a summary of the economy progress, describing it as a difficult and challenging year.

The minister also talked about inflation, when she emphasized that for the first time this year, there was a turning point in November, which is a positive sign for the future. 

Regarding the expectation for 2023, the minister informed that based on the current data, economic growth is predicted at 2.6 percent of the gross domestic product.
