Kosovo's economy grew by 3.85% at the end of 2025 - Trade, transport and accommodation led the expansion

The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published data on Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the fourth quarter of 2025, by economic activities and expenditure method. According to KAS, Gross Domestic Product in the fourth quarter of 2025 marked a real increase of 3.85%, compared to the same period in 2024.
Among the economic activities that have recorded the greatest growth during this quarter are wholesale and retail trade, vehicle repair, transportation and storage, as well as accommodation and food service activities, with an increase of 5.71%.
Growth was also recorded in financial and insurance activities by 5.16%, in the information and communication sector by 4.98%, as well as in arts, entertainment and other service activities by 4.95%.
On the other hand, according to the expenditure method, an increase was recorded in the export of goods and services by 11.49%, gross capital formation by 3.45%, and the import of goods and services by 1.95%.
Meanwhile, final consumption expenditures of households and non-profit organizations increased by 0.62%, while Government final consumption expenditures decreased by 1.03%.
ASK emphasizes that these data provide an overview of economic developments in Kosovo during the last quarter of 2025.
