People with disabilities, towards the labor market - Source: Economic independence makes them feel included and equal

The integration of people with disabilities into the labor market is one of the most important elements of the national action plan 2026-2030, issued for public consultation by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
Psychologist Anora Kroj says this is an important step, as it makes these people feel included and equal.
"It directly affects the self-esteem and identification of this person, because now he does not see himself through the limitations he has, but through the contribution he makes to society, to work, to the family. He is part of a social group, has financial benefits and feels more useful. When individuals are limited and excluded from society and work, they no longer function," says Kroj.
Kroj states that these individuals, beyond their different abilities, give their best when they work and also contribute to a better climate in the workplace.
Psychology suggests that institutions and businesses seriously engage and recruit individuals with disabilities, not only because this is a requirement of the European Union, but because their need to feel equal transcends the rules.
