The volume of online services for businesses is increasing - Is digital communication between businesses and the Central Bank increasing?
The Directorate of Online Assistance and Data Handling at the National Business Center has faced a high volume of requests and communication with businesses during 2025. According to official data, from January 1 to December 31, 2025, 19,488 emails received through official communication channels were handled. In parallel, 12,374 subjects were assisted through the telephone line, who received information on the application procedures on the e-Albania portal, the necessary documentation and the progress of the applications.
Meanwhile, online services have also been widely used. 3,971 responses were provided through the “Chat” service, while 455 requests were handled through the “Ticket” system. During this year, 12,316 incoming and outgoing letters were also administered, while 2,727 applications were opened mainly at the request of third parties.
In the interest of transparency and service to entities, the Central Bank of Kosovo has handled 321 requests for the provision of copies identical to the original of electronic files within the legal deadlines. Also, in cooperation with the tax administration, 3,732 deregistration certificates have been sent to the relevant entities, always within the established deadlines.
In the framework of inter-institutional cooperation, the National Business Center has processed requests for information from institutions such as the Prosecutor's Office, Courts, the Supreme Court of Justice and others, returning 1,670 written responses during 2025. In addition, 47 requests were handled under the law on the right to information. The National Business Center emphasizes that all requests administered during this year were handled in accordance with the deadlines and legal framework in force, guaranteeing a sustainable and transparent service for business.
