Citizens' pockets are relieved - Prices of agricultural products are reduced

After a strong increase that was directly reflected in the consumer basket a few weeks ago, fruit and vegetable prices in the country's markets have begun to fall.
SCAN Television has conducted another survey in the capital's markets, where currently, the price of tomatoes is on average 200 lek/kg, while citizens have the option of choosing cheaper products.
Cucumbers are being traded at a maximum price of 100 lek/kg, green peppers 200 lek/kg, while red peppers have a maximum price of 350 lek/kg. Broccoli and cauliflower around 150 lek/kg, mullets 300 lek/kg, carrots around 130 lek/kg, while products such as onions and potatoes seem to be the only products that did not reflect an increase.
Consumers also feel the difference, however, many of them say they still encounter difficulties in their daily purchases.
This decline is also related to the entry of seasonal domestic production into the market, which has reduced dependence on imports.
