Lezha, emergency intervention in 10 mountain bridges and ambushes - The tender for the prevention of the consequences of rainfall is opened
The Municipality of Lezha has announced the tender for study and design for emergency intervention and prevention of the consequences that can be brought by heavy rains.
The goal is to intervene in mountain traps and rehabilitate 10 bridges in different villages, in order to improve traffic flow and not obstruct the traffic of vehicles as a result of blocking the roads, as is currently the case.
More specifically, the aim is to rehabilitate the mountain slope on the Shelbuemi road in the village of Kolsh, as the existing mountain slope has been damaged almost along its entire length as a result of large flows in the event of rainfall.
The project also includes the rehabilitation of bridges in the villages of Dragushë, in the drainage canal Zejmen-Tale, Ungrej, Bërzanë, Sukaxhi, Fishtë and Troshan, as well as in the villages of Kallmet and Dajç, where, in addition to the bridges, the mountain pits will also be rehabilitated.
The county of Lezha, due to the terrain, is one of the counties most affected by climate change and one of the most endangered counties in cases of increased rainfall.
