''Promotion point and laboratory of excellence for olive oil'' - Prime Minister Rama: Promotion of this product in Berat

In the city known as the “city of one over another windows”, a special space is expected to be created for the promotion of local olive oil, turning it into a complete experience for visitors. This initiative aims to highlight the area’s ancient tradition in olive oil production and increase the value of this product on the market. This area has a long history and consolidated experience in this field, so according to Prime Minister Rama, establishing a promotion point in the city center is an important step to make the oil more well-known and more sought-after. In addition, the project also foresees the creation of a modern laboratory, which will serve to control and evaluate the quality of the oil produced.
Olive oil is considered one of the most valuable and sought-after products in domestic and international markets. Although the country does not have very large producers in this sector, it enjoys a positive reputation, which constitutes an important advantage. The challenge lies in increasing the added value of the product, through better cooperation between producers, improving the way of processing, packaging and promotion.
Another important element is the idea of presenting olive oil not simply as a product, but as an experience linked to the identity of the city. Berat is not seen only as a tourist destination, but as a place where visitors can experience the culture, tradition and authentic taste of the products. The project for the laboratory of excellence and the promotion point is seen as a concrete step towards the further development of this sector and increasing the quality of the local product.
