Works on the Tirana-Durrës-Rinas railway/Temporary traffic restrictions near the Kamza bend

Drivers of vehicles circulating in the segment near the Kamza Turn will face temporary traffic restrictions and diversions, due to the works being carried out as part of the construction of the Tirana-Durrës-Rinas railway line.
According to the announcement of the Albanian Railway, the traffic blockage and diversion will be implemented from June 6 to 9, in the area known as the Treshit Roundabout, where the road is interrupted by railway tracks.
The first phase of the works foresees a total traffic blockage from 24:00 on June 6 to 05:00 on June 7. During this period, vehicles traveling towards Tirana will be diverted via the “Petrit Radovicka” road, while vehicles moving from Tirana towards the roundabout will be directed from the Kamza Turn to the secondary industrial road or to the highway towards Vora.
In the second phase, from 05:00 to 15:00 on June 7, traffic will partially continue with one lane for each direction of movement, while works will take place on the lane on the Tirana side.
Meanwhile, the third phase will last from 11:00 PM on June 7 to 10:00 AM on June 9. During this period, traffic will be diverted to the Durrës side, operating again with one lane in each direction.
Albanian Railways announces that, in cooperation with the works contractor and the Traffic Police, the necessary measures have been taken for traffic management, while calling on drivers to respect the signs and plan their movements in advance.
