Rama in South Korea: Further cooperation with focus on technology and tourism

Prime Minister Edi Rama is on an official visit to the Republic of South Korea along with the accompanying delegation.
After meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, Kim Minseok, in Seoul, Rama shared on social media the main moments and topics of discussion.
"We talked about the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, the similarities of our histories and further cooperation, with a focus on technology, Artificial Intelligence and tourism," Prime Minister Rama wrote.
The official visit aims to deepen cooperation between the two countries, as well as expand partnership, in areas of mutual interest for development, technology and innovation.
Prime Minister Rama will address the opening ceremony of the prestigious Asian Leadership Conference alongside important international personalities, including South Korean Prime Minister Kim Minseok.
The Rama-Minseok meeting was covered in the South Korean media, with koreatimes.com. quoting the head of the South Korean government as saying that he "looks forward to expanding exchanges and cooperation with Albania, noting that the Balkan country has appointed what is known as the "world's first minister for artificial intelligence (AI)," while South Korea also attaches importance to artificial intelligence and advanced technologies."
For his part, Prime Minister Rama emphasized that "Albania is interested in strengthening cooperation in the fields of trade, investment and artificial intelligence."
