Regaining the license, a challenge for drivers - DPSHTRR: Only 7 out of 43 candidates pass

Regaining a driver's license remains a challenging process for drivers who must undergo retesting.
According to the General Directorate of Road Transport, the results of the last session prove that passing the test requires serious preparation and thorough knowledge of road traffic rules. According to the data, in the most recent retesting session, only 7 candidates managed to successfully pass the exam, out of 43 re-registered persons, reflecting the high level of requests for re-registration of the driving license.
Meanwhile, since the launch of the campaign in June 2022, figures show that out of 3,402 re-registered candidates, only 470 have managed to regain their driving license, or about 13.8% of the total. Re-testing is an important mechanism for increasing road safety and reducing the number of accidents caused by violations of the rules.
On the other hand, these figures show that the retesting process aims to return only prepared and conscientious drivers to the road, with the aim of increasing road safety and reducing accidents.
DPSHTRR calls on candidates to prepare, using online simulations and applications dedicated to theoretical testing, to increase the chances of success in the exam.
Also, only well-informed, conscientious and law-abiding drivers can contribute to increasing safety on the country's roads, emphasizes the General Directorate of Road Transport Services.
