Poles "flocked" to the Albanian coast/ During July, the number of visitors to the country increased by 34.6%

Albania is increasingly becoming a favorite tourist destination, with visitors coming not only from the region, but also from Europe and distant countries. July 2025 statistics published by INSTAT show a significant expansion in both the flow of tourists and the length of their stay in hotels and other hospitality structures, compared to July last year.
In the country, during July they have experienced an increase of 34.6% with about 709 thousand tourists. Meanwhile, according to INSTAT data, it is shown that non-resident visitors have marked an increase of 45.3% with about 526 thousand during this month, while resident tourists marked an increase of 11.2% reaching 182 thousand. Regarding the nights of stay, the increase has been 33.5%.
Being one of the most touristy months, coastal destinations were certainly the most popular in July, with a 35% increase in hotel and similar structure bookings. The central region appears to have received more tourists than other areas of the country.
Among the countries of origin for foreign tourists, Kosovo led with the highest number, accounting for 21% of the total. Following them are Polish tourists with 11%, Italians with 10%, as well as Germans and French who contributed with 7% and 6% respectively. While 45% of visitors came from unspecified countries. Also, according to statistics, it is shown that the occupancy rate of hotel rooms reached 52.9%, compared to 49.3% in July 2024.
