Chapter 26 closes, reforms continue - Osmani: We will continue to report to the EU
Albania has recently closed the first 3 chapters of negotiations with the European Union. One of them is Chapter 26, on Education and Culture.
In an interview with SCAN Television, Deputy Minister of Education, Orjana Osmani, provided more details on what happened in Brussels, what was assessed, the implementation of reforms and other steps that are expected to be followed.
Osmani also highlighted the most important reforms and policies regarding the education strategy.
One of the main issues remains the financing of education. According to Osmani, in addition to the continuous increase in the budget, a long-term plan has been drafted, in cooperation with the European Union, to further increase investments and approach the standards of member countries.
