Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a meeting with young people in Gjirokastra, has promised more funding for young people who engage in technology. Rama said that investments will also be made in SMART laboratories for all schools in the country, to increase students' contact with technological developments. Rama focused on technological developments and support for young people who are focused on innovation, technology and digitalization.

"Several paths have been opened that are increasingly being taken up by mainly young people and for example with our Start-up program, we started with only 40 applications and today, not many years later, we have about 1,500 applications. This has naturally put us in the position to intervene again to increase funding. We will have to make a selection through the mechanisms that have been developed for this work. Not only do we need to increase funding for our start-up program, but we also need to increase funding for those who are still in school or university. I believe that we will start this with the next festival, where in addition to awards and assessments associated with computers, we must find ways to finance those prototypes to develop further," said Prime Minister Rama.

While Prime Minister Rama emphasized that the entire school system will be supplemented with smart laboratories, so that everyone has access to technology from the first steps of school and we will work very hard to invest more in AI, in digital data centers. On the other hand, the Minister of Education Mirela Kumbaro emphasized that programs are being added to promote talents in the field of technology.

"We are also reviewing the possibility of funding scholarships not only at the bachelor's level, but also full scholarships for master's students who choose these branches to train, graduate and enrich the ranks of teachers. We need to create generations for several professions that need talent, work, passion, and technology is one of them," said the Minister of Education, Kumbaro.
