Kushner zyrtarizon investimin në Beograd – Merr me qira për 99 vite ndërtesat e ish-Ushtrisë Popullore Jugosllave
Autoritetet serbe dhe firma e investimeve e ish-zyrtarit të lartë amerikan, Jared Kushner, Affinity Global Development, nënshkruan një marrëveshje qiraje 99-vjeçare me qëllim “rigjallërimin e kompleksit” të ish-shtabit të Ushtrisë Popullore Jugosllave.
Ministria serbe e Ndërtimit tha në një deklaratë se kompania amerikane e lidhur me Kushner, dhëndrin e ish-presidentit të SHBA, Donald Trump, u zgjodh për projektin, më të mirë. Por, Ministria nuk ka specifikuar vlerën e investimit dhe as afatin e përfundimit të tij.
Dy ndërtesat u dëmtuan në vitin 1999 gjatë bombardimeve të NATO-s në ish-Jugosllavi. Në deklaratë thuhet se investitori ka rënë dakord të kthejë tokën pa kompensim nëse nuk arrin të përfundojë investimin në kohë dhe të ndërtojë një qendër përkujtimore kushtuar të gjitha viktimave të bombardimeve të NATO-s.
Në mars, Kushner njoftoi se një investim më i gjerë prej rreth 1 miliard dollar nga ‘Affinity Partners’ në Ballkan do të përfshinte projekte në Shqipëri dhe në Beograd.
Sa i përket Shqipërisë, kompania me bazë në Majami planifikon të transformojë ishullin e Sazanit, ku më parë ngrihej një bazë ushtarake, në një komunitet luksoz eko-resort të markës Aman. Affinity po kërkon gjithashtu të zhvillojë Gadishullin e Zvërnecit.
Kjo kompani mbështetet nga investitorë nga shtete të Lindjes së Mesme, duke përfshirë rreth 2 miliardë dollarë nga Fondi i Investimeve Publike të Arabisë Saudite.
