Parliament, 11 recommendations for the BoA - Focus on adaptation to the European acquis and cybersecurity
The Parliament has made 11 recommendations to the Bank of Albania, to be implemented during 2026. The Chairwoman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economy and Finance, Milva Ekonomi, presented the draft resolution, where the main focus is on approximation with the European acquis.
The Minister of Economy agreed with opposition MPs to maintain the exchange rate, while emphasizing that there is a structural problem with foreign trade.
Meanwhile, the committee also discussed the draft resolution on the Financial Supervisory Authority, where relevant recommendations were given.
