The number of legalizations increases - ASHK: 31,234 citizens have been provided with property certificates

The State Cadastral Agency announces that, during the period January-May 2026, 343 thousand 613 cadastral services were handled through the e-Albania platform in the four Local Directorates of Tirana.
During this period, 31,234 citizens have been provided with ownership certificates, completing the procedures for registering and documenting their property. Meanwhile, the process of legalizing informal constructions continues, with 4,336 residential buildings being legalized.
On the other hand, the data shows a significant increase in the number of legalizations compared to the last two years. In 2024, 699 objects were legalized, while in 2025 this number increased to 2 thousand 675. In just the first five months of 2026, the number of legalized objects has reached 4 thousand 336, significantly exceeding the results of previous years.
Through the electronic platform, requests for property registrations, ownership certificates, documentation verifications, applications for legalizations and other services related to real estate administration have been processed.
These figures reflect the continuation of the process of digitalization of services, the acceleration of administrative procedures, and the commitment to providing citizens with faster, more transparent, and more efficient services.
