Lushnje, DPSHTRR is modernized - New building with significant expansion of services for citizens

Following the day's activities in Lushnja, Prime Minister Edi Rama inspected the new building of the Regional Directorate of Road Transport Services (DPSHTRR), an investment made from the state budget, which offers dignified working and service conditions for employees and for about 34 thousand citizens from Lushnja and Divjaka.
The new facility represents a new standard of modernization of public service infrastructure, guaranteeing not only improved physical working and service conditions, but also a significant increase in the efficiency and quality of services to citizens.
The General Director of the DPSHTRR, Kreshnik Bajraktari, stated that this new center serves not only Lushnje, but also Divjaka, covering a considerable flow of about 34 thousand vehicle owners. He emphasized that the new organization of the spaces has significantly improved the management of the flow of citizens and vehicles, avoiding waiting and overlapping, both for small vehicles and for heavy tonnage vehicles.
During the inspection, it was emphasized that the construction of this building was carried out at zero cost to the DPSHTRR, through a property exchange process and the construction of the entire infrastructure from scratch, bringing a more functional solution and a more favorable positioning of the institution in the territory.
"This is the new technical control center, the Lushnje Regional Directorate, recently built where the DPSHTRR in cooperation with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy and the Ministry of Economy has carried out the property exchange process for the first time, through which the entire process was carried out at no cost to the DPSHTRR. This regional directorate does not only serve Lushnje, but also Divjaka. It concerns about 34 thousand vehicle owners. The positive sides of the location are also the management of internal flow within the territory, so we do not have queues or overlapping flows, so not only for small cars but also for trucks or large trailers. There is also parking there in order not to hinder the flow." - explained Bajraktari.
An important innovation of this building is the significant expansion of the range of services, where from 8 previous services, 54 different services are currently offered, including technical inspection, vehicle registration and license plate production.
For his part, Prime Minister Edi Rama praised the work done and the modernization carried out in this center, calling it a successful model of the transformation of public services in the country.
