Taxes: The first phase of Fiscal Peace is closed, 19 agreements concluded

The General Directorate of Taxation announced that the first phase of applications under the Fiscal Peace program has been closed with 62 applications submitted and 19 agreements concluded, without any case of money laundering being identified.
According to Taxation, Fiscal Peace remains a mechanism for the voluntary formalization of businesses, eliminating on-site tax controls and offering a stimulating tax rate of 5%.
The General Directorate of Taxes announced that applications will be reopened in two more periods, from 1 to 15 April 2027 and from 1 to 15 April 2028.
Taxes called on businesses to take advantage of this opportunity to formalize, contributing to the creation of a fairer and more transparent market that supports consumer protection, fair competition, and alignment with European Union standards.
