10.6 billion lek revenue in one month, Durres customs the main supplier of the budget
The Port of Durres holds the largest share of the Albanian market's supply of goods and therefore also of the state budget with revenues. According to a post made by the Durres Port Authority, the Durres Customs is the branch with the highest contribution to customs revenues. This is also confirmed for June 2026. The APD post states: The Durres Customs Branch continues to make the main contribution to the collection of customs revenues, closing the month of June 2026 with exceeding the plan and positive performance.
According to published figures for the period June 1-30, Durres Customs collected 10.6 billion lek, which is about 102 percent of the monthly plan of this customs branch.
