Oil and gasoline with new prices - Operators warned of measures in case of violations
The Transparency Board has approved the new fuel sales prices in the domestic market, which entered into force today, June 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
According to the Board's decision, the maximum retail price of the SSH EN 590 standard diesel by-product has been set at 180 lek per liter, while the wholesale price is set at 168 lek per liter.
Likewise, the maximum retail price of gasoline has been set at 168 lek per liter, while the wholesale price is set at 156 lek per liter.
The new prices will remain in effect until the next meeting of the Transparency Board, where further changes in the international hydrocarbon market will be reflected.
The Board has reminded wholesale and retail fuel trading operators of their obligation to implement the decision, warning of administrative measures in case of violations.
According to the official announcement, operators found not to respect the approved prices may be subject to suspension of activity.
The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, emphasizes that it remains committed to protecting consumer interests and ensuring fair competition in the fuel market.
