Elbasan–Rrogozhinë Road 87% Completed/ Karakaçi: Works Continue on the Corridor VIII Segment
The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Enea Karakaçi, announced that the works for the construction of the Elbasan-Rrogozhinë road axis, part of Corridor VIII, are continuing at a good pace, while the physical implementation of the project has reached 87% and that also in the first six phases of implementation, all works of art are nearing completion.
Meanwhile, in the Papër–Ura e Grykshit segment, Phase II, works have begun to lay asphalt layers and install road safety elements.
According to the minister, the completion of this axis will significantly improve traffic, shortening travel time and increasing road safety.
"The completion of this axis will bring numerous benefits to citizens and businesses. It will shorten travel time, increase road safety and enable connectivity between surrounding areas," said Karakaçi.
