“Prices will continue the downward trend in 2023!” BSH Governor: Despite the challenges, household and business balances will be positive

Present at the presentation of the EBRD Interim Report, The Governor of the Bank of Albania, Gent Sejko, remained positive in his economic forecasts for this year. He said that, beyond the challenges that the conflict in Ukraine has brought with it, prices have started a downward trend and that the balance sheets of Albanian families and businesses will remain positive for this year as well.

Sejko emphasized that it is essential for Albania to return to the structural reforms slowed down by the COVID-19 pandemic.
