The new income tax has been delayed until 2024

The income tax bill will not be approved in December, and its implementation will be delayed until 2024.

The Economy Commission has held a hearing with interest groups about this draft, drawn up months ago, while the head of the commission, Eduard Shalsi, has confirmed that a new draft has been prepared, stating that it will be proposed that its effects won’t start until next year. 

Meanwhile, interest groups have raised a number of issues related to the draft law that, according to them, should be repaired. 

The draft law on income tax has been opposed in the ranks of interest groups since the moment it was submitted for consultation, mainly regarding the taxation of free professions.
